I am fascinated (and repulsed) by thos...Great post. I am fascinated (and repulsed) by those who think sexual orientation is a choice, not a natural proclivity. I could no more choose to be gay than I could choose to like mayonnaise (which I can't stand). I think the attitude that it's a choice is taken by many religious people because the alternative is unacceptable to them. The alternative is that an allegedly compassionate and merciful God has called homosexuality an "abomination" and has then gone on to make many homosexuals.
